FACTS NOT THEORY
Motorsport is often blinded by emotion, data and theory. We are all emotional humans and without factual proven experience, emotion clouds our ability to read between the lines. Driving on track begins with simple racing lines and basic logical driving practices, but evolves quickly into something very different and this is where we differ from most track instruction.
If you have never raced in a top level professional race team competing regularly at the front of say TOCA, SRO or international race paddocks, the chances are very high you will benefit massively from our input in ways that can only be understood when enegaged.
WHAT WE DELIVER
You do not need to be an aspiring career racing driver to benefit from our coaching. First of all we need to understand each other, your goals, your learning style, your physical potential the reality of your ambition compared with the reality of motorsport and of course our ability to communicate.
From here we work with you to build knowledge, skills and mental approach and our goal is always to give our clients the confidence to become self sufficient on track, not reliant on upon us.
COACHING METHODS
There are several methods of driver coaching... 1 to 1 in car is always the best starting point, followed by video and data alongside, simulator use. Track walks and visual learning methods are particularly important in our racing clients training.
The ultimate goal of coaching is to build tools/processes that help Simon's clients focus and adjust for ever the changing scenarios of time on track.
Every person is different, and often so is the same car and track secanrio across a day. We aim to keep continuity by helping clients understand these changes.
