The unrivalled 35+ years motorsport experience available at our Manchester simulator is unique in the North West and guaranteed to deliver benefits... or we will give you your money back!
Starting as a DIY club racer in the late 1980's to paid professional driver, with experience in building race cars, running teams at a European GT level and working with every type of driver, car and team combination from club level to a Formula 1 World Champion, the experience and training we deliver will change the way you go racing forever.
With our heart and roots embeded in pure motor sport, we take great pleasure in seeing our clients demonstrate the difference proper mentoring delivers.
The difference between pro-drivers and club drivers is not pure talent, budget, race wins or the perceived skill level required to drive a faster car, instead the difference is all down to each individual’s exposure to experience and training reducing all the misunderstandings and avoidable hard lessons. We learn by our mistakes, and we all make them but in motor sport they often come in easily avoidable scenarios with real knowledge and at great cost to someone and not always the person causing the incident.
Without any exceptions, the best racing drivers (quick, consistent lap times and safe/predictable in anything within 3 or 4 laps) have benefited from exposure to high quality experience in one form or other in their careers. Is this ability talent or understanding of environment?
Within motorsport and track days, this process is normally avoided in favour of short-term comforts like watching online training videos or worse, spending more money on go faster parts, all at the expense of knowing what REALLY is going on around them.
Motorsport, in any form is about a package approach i.e. drivers self-analysing ability, inherent driver ability/approach, car preparation, the various rules involved, weather effects and circuit specific knowledge and therefore the sport is about an attitude from which we can adapt as we move through the sport. You can only learn this attitude by exposure to people who live eat and breath it, not as a hobby but as a question-and-answer career.
Simulators have become highly valuable tools for all levels of driving experience, they allow low cost training to develop core focus and reduce a racing drivers inherent desire for excuses. The excuses which lead to wasting money and time on the wrong things!
We have seen drivers significantly lacking in confidence transform through training at our Manchester Simulator. On the flip side we have seen confident but lets say, unsophisticated drivers convert from fast but not consistent into championship challengers.
The simple fact is, driving on the limit or being safe at speed is all about anticipation, so the over the limit ques and consequences (G force and yaw) only serve to make us stay focused or awake, they are not specificaly what a good driver is reliant on.
In essence the primary value of simulators is the brain training, the clarity of driving focus, intensity of repeating identical laps, the self responsibility for our actions and as a result our ability to avoid excuses and find no cost, clear solutions faster.
